Coming to its Advanced Automatic Linking system, this Internal Linking Plugin is by far the best in terms of intelligent filters. Options such as Autolinks Categorization, the Left and Right boundary rule (which help in converting keywords that are preceded (or otherwise) by a certain string into links), the Before and After Keyword rule (which are used in matching Autolinks per prefix or suffix), and the Case Sensitive match are clever distinctions.

The Autolinking system houses filters that stand out from the competition. However, it doesn't constitute the human review option as seen in Link Whisper and Linkilo (which are the leading ones). Allowing human review before applying the Autolinks kind of cancels the Advanced filters of the Plugin out. Because, no matter how refined a filter is, it can't provide a perfect output.

InterLinks Manager appears in our Category of Internal Linking Tools. It's no mistake. This WordPress Plugin should be on your shortlist.

Beyond the features discussed above, the Plugin gives you a meticulous Link status Report and Broken Link Audit. You can use these to stay in the Know and to relieve your site from all disasters.

Just like seen in Link Whisper, the tool lets you track the clicks on Internal Links. It shows the Date of click, Target Post, and Target URL in the Report.

Plus, InterLinks Manager lets you export your Autolinks, Click tracking data, and others in a CSV file. This is especially useful for external review and observation. You can of course import the exported files on your other sites to easily replicate your hard work.

Last but not least, there's a role configuration section that you can use to assign specific roles to your teams.

Pertaining to Price and the Plugin's worth, Internal Links Manager can be more affordable than most of the tools in our list and is worth the cost.

Worthy of note, we hate the Architecture of its Link Suggestion (it shows the basic one) and it's not helpful when compared to the competition. Also, it doesn't give the additional human review option in its Autolinks system.

We can't forget this, there's also an absence of the Search and Replace feature (seen in Link Whisper) which we like the most.

Deciding to go with the Plugin is what should be made wisely. Although it's presently active on one of our sites, we can't choose it over the leading Internal Link building Plugins.

The Linksy WordPress Plugin is developed by a team of developers called Plugli. It's new to the atmosphere and it has been doing exploit.

Unbelievably, it has already copied Link Whisper (the best Internal Linking Tool) down the box with additional Add-ons.

It's like when a Competitor conducts research about an existing offer, then gets down and ensures he implements all of the observed features plus Add-ons which he'll later add to make his own offer stand out.

From Intelligent Link suggestions as you write on WordPress, to the Link & Domain Reports are all designed with Link Whisper's approach in mind with a little bit of additions.

Not long ago, it released its Autolinking system and it didn't disappoint. The system lets you build links in one click, and using its advanced filters and additional human review option, the output is always sth to write home about.

We might have missed this – It houses an Advanced Link suggestion system (both Outbound and Inbound) and it seems to be outperforming Link Whisper in terms of relevancy.

It has a feature called Anchors Cloud, which lets you judge the contextual relevancy of your Anchors against the Target.

A feature that makes it stand out from the competition is the Keyword Rating. It rates the level of relevancy of a Page's focus keyword. Bear in mind, the focus keyword being talked about is the same one used in Rank Math and other SEO tools. So this feature kind of replicates what our SEO tools are already doing but now with Semantic Analysis in mind.

Now, owing to the New nature of the Linksy Internal Linking Plugin, it's yet to constitute other Link Whisper features such as Click-tracking and Broken Link detection. For this reason, the Plugin will remain underrated in our list till they release those features.

We have already gone far in this list before discovering the Plugin and what we saw blew us away.

Above all, the Plugin is currently doing a Lifetime deal and it's always a bargain price. Time to take advantage of its New nature and obtain Plugin updates in the future for free. We all know that New Apps always run a Lifetime deal, this is to enable them have the resources for Improvement and updates.

Autolinks Manager is a sister product of the Interlinks Manager Plugin discussed above. They are developed by DAEXT and are built to address different things.

Autolinks Manager has maintained a steady position among the best Automatic Linking Plugin until recent years. We are in a time when the atmosphere is taking a new shape.

As pathetic as it is, Autolinks Manager has lost its worth owing to the emergence of better tools (such as Link Whisper, Linkilo, and Linksy).

Like we said, the Plugin is built to address a different use case. Its sister product, the Interlinks Manager is built to fasten the process of Internal Linking, whereas, it focuses on Automatic Link building alone.

Bear in mind, Interlinks Manager doesn't support the automatic building of links that aren't internal. It only supports automatic internal linking. As for the other, it is in full support of all Automatic Linking needs (be it Internal, External, or Affiliate URLs).

It's worthy of note to hear that the Plugin also falls away in our definition of Internal Linking Tools just like the Internal Link Juicer. They are commonly referred to as Automatic Linking Tools.

Enough of the long story, in terms of features – the Autolinks Manager lets you bulk create automatic links on autopilot. Best of it, it uses the most Advanced filters like the one seen in Interlinks Manager.

The Plugin also shows you reporting around your Autolinks. You can track the performance and the clicks on your links too.

Also, you can do export and import which is an integral part of the game. Now coming to the Cost, the Plugin is affordable and is worth the cost.

However, we won't recommend the Plugin over better ones'. You can rather invest in one of the Internal Linking Tools on this page. They come with a better Automatic Linking system plus the capability to analyze Internal Links.

While Autolinks Manager lets you build links automatically, it doesn't provide the additional human review option, which is required of it.

7. InLinks Content Optimizer

In our list of Internal Link building Plugins is the InLinks standalone Application. It's more than an automatic linking tool and is never a WordPress Plugin.

To run the tool on WordPress, you need to insert a piece of code on your site.

InLinks is a bonus point in this list because it doesn't wholly cover what other Interlinking tools are doing.

Outside the Automatic Linking it provides, it also houses Schema Automation, Social media Integration, and amongst others which are outside our concentration.

But as for the Automatic Linking, it does it with Entity SEO in mind. Rather than just linking keywords, the Tool analyzes your content and matches Topics, thereby giving you enough room to convert more opportunities.

Link suggestions in Link Whisper and other Plugins use AI to identify keywords and topics that are related to a specific page. In the same vein, the Entity-based nature covers up potential keyword opportunities. They are homologous to each other.

The Pricing structure is on a structure and is best for highly established websites with lots of Pages. Their level one tier costs $49/month and it enables you to analyze 100 pages.

This is a no-go area to the seekers of Internal Linking Tools, though some SEOs find it interesting.

Harmonizing the Result of Internal Linking Tools with Rank Math

Top tools like Link Whisper and Linkilo use the focus keywords in Rank Math for them to provide accurate Link Suggestions. Bear in mind, any other SEO tools (Yoast SEO, AIOSEO) can serve.

We are recommending Rank Math because we like it and it works in tandem with any Linking Tool. We use Link Whisper along with it on this site, and they're cooperating with one another to make us fall in love with SEO once again.

Some people think that Rank Math (can be any SEO tool) is in the same subject as Link Whisper (can be another Interlinking tool also).

But the whole story is in the other way round, SEO tools do not fall under our definition of Internal Link Building Tools. While they share common features with some of them, they shouldn't be seen as Replacements.

We even went all the way to review Link Whisper side-by-side against Rank Math. They both share a range of features.

Functionalities in Rank Math such as 404 monitor (which is also found in most Internal Link building Tools), Redirections (homologous to Search and Replace), and even Link suggestions are some of them they have in common.

We all know that Redirections instruct URLs to lead to other Pages. When you set up a Redirection. The main URL doesn't change, it stays in the Anchor Texts like that. The only thing it does is to redirect to the New target location.

As for Search and Replace existing Links functionality (found in Link Whisper and Linksy), it changes the main URL with the new one. The feature also doesn't use Redirections. It works the same way as manual Link insertion.

The use of Redirections and Search/Replace can be a cool combination. We use Search and Replace to update outdated links on our site to new ones, and then Redirections for External Links, Social media Links, and Links that are outside of our control.

The Redirections are the only reason why our moved URLs (irrespective of their location) find their way back to our Site. With the Search and Replace feature alone, you can't achieve this.

Now, this is to show that, when an Internal Linking Tool (i.e. Link Whisper, etc) is used alongside Rank Math or AIOSEO or Yoast SEO, the results are great.

Therefore, we highly recommend you have both an SEO & Interlinking Tool on your site.

Note: The two can work impeccably on their own, but when combined together, greater results are achieved.
