Healing as a gradual process!

Healing as a gradual process

Healing is a process, a gradual one! Not something that happens overnight or real quick. If you see any healing that is automatic, run from it, because it is a lie.

When life and situations hurt us, and we enter recovery mode, we must understand that it may take some time but we will come back 100%.

It’s like a pendulum ball hung on its bar and set in motion. When the source of the motion is removed, you’ll see the pendulum gradually reduce its speed. Eventually, it will stop completely. But if you try to stop it forcefully, say by distracting it, the ball will still swing, now in a zigzag manner. That kind of interference doesn’t stop the movement; instead, it worsens the process of healing.

This truth applies everywhere, even in God’s process of making us whole. We may face swings. We may face fluctuations. Those fluctuations can be waves of darkness trying to test us, trying to tempt us to see whether our faith is strong.

And when those trials come, and we shake, our healing may scatter.

So I urge everyone, starting henceforth, to truly understand what healing is and to give it the time it needs to complete on its own.
